A Pearl River, New York resident, Lukas Politis majors in Media and Strategic Communications with a Digital Media and Production Concentration at Iona College. His academic activities include taking part in campus radio and multimedia digital lab operations. Having competed in intramural basketball while the in high school, Lukas Politis enjoys the sport to this day and was part of the winning team in the intramural 3v3 Fundraiser Tournament.
Lukas Politis maintains a longstanding focus on volunteer fundraising efforts and has been involved in raising money toward childhood cancer research since 2009 . He recently received a Saint Baldrick’s Foundation award reserved for those who have been participating in and raising money for the cause for 10 consecutive years.
Maintaining a strong work ethic with an emphasis on customer service, he has gained work experience as a driver assistant with the Manhattan Beverage Distributors in Suffern, New York. He also served as a building maintenance assistant with a Manhattan property on West 12th Street in 2016 and 2017.
